David Katz of Baltimore named as suspect in mass shooting at the Landing

According to Jacksonville Sherriff's Office Sherriff Mike Williams, David Katz of Baltimore, is alleged to have been the shooter during a Madden 19 tournament taking place inside the Jacksonville Landing. 

The Baltimore Sun reported that the home is located in southern Baltimore and that Federal Authorities have joined the investigation.

David Katz,24, was alleged to have been the shooter by others on social media, however it was just confirmed in a press conference with JSO. While the motive is still under investigation, witnesses stated that Katz was a gamer in the official Madden 19 tournament, and began shooting others after he lost before turning the gun on himself. 

Police believe Katz spent the night in a hotel in Jacksonville last night, but will need the communities assistance in finding out which hotel. JSO did locate his vehicle and have impounded it.
